Our center supports your innovation processes with sound service analytics. We offer businesses and research institutions reliable analyses for materials, packaging and products throughout their entire life cycle - quickly, flexibly and scientifically sound.

  • Genotoxicity testing (Ames MPF Test)
    Testing with two or four bacterial strains, including metabolic activation, migration setup, repeat measurements, and all required control samples
     
  • Ames test according to OECD 471
    Standardized genotoxicity testing in compliance with OECD guidelines, including all necessary strains and controls
     
  • Microbiological hygiene testing
    Detection of microorganisms such as coliform bacteria or total viable count; available on short notice with prior scheduling
     
  • Barrier analysis of packaging materials
    Evaluation of material permeability to environmental influences to assess functional packaging properties
     
  • Thermal analysis (TGA, DSC)
    Characterization of thermal properties such as decomposition temperature or heat capacity of materials
     
  • FTIR spectroscopy & microscopy
    Identification of polymers, analysis of multilayer materials or layered structures using microscopy (up to 10 μm resolution)
     
  • Mechanical testing (e.g., tensile testing)
    Determination of elastic modulus, tensile strength, and elongation at break for paper or plastic samples
     
  • Life cycle assessment (LCA) and product carbon footprint (PCF)
    Assessment of environmental impacts of products across their entire life cycle
     
  • Custom analyses on request
    Additional spectroscopic, wet-chemical, sensory, or microscopic methods available upon request
