The course serves as preparation for the extended roles of the SLP as a "professional" and as a "learner/teacher" with regard to the required individual further education management due to the legal obligation for further education and training in the health care professions.

The students have to prove the required 0.5 ECTS from a pool of current continuing education courses or relevant courses by the end of the 6th semester. The workload can be covered either by attending congresses, further education courses or external seminars.
