Micro-Credential for Health Professionals

Healthcare professionals face challenging communication situations in their daily work: they must convey information clearly under time pressure, conduct difficult conversations, manage emotional reactions, and make joint decisions. These challenges arise not only when interacting with patients, but also when supervising students during practical placements, where they also serve as professional role models.

Micro-Credential: Communication Training for Clinical Instructors and Health Professionals

This micro-credential teaches how to conduct conversations in a structured, empathetic, and—above all—patient-centered manner. It is based on the evidence-based Calgary-Cambridge Guides (CCGs). These guides combine a clear conversation structure with the development of sustainable relationships, thereby supporting efficient and effective communication in everyday professional practice.
