Project duration: 1.4.2018 to 31.3.2019

The aim of the Section Packaging and Resource Management at FH Campus Wien is to establish the first (inter)national scientific conference on "Innovative Packaging" to create a close link between the scientific community, the packaging industry, students and the interested public and to focus on the topics of ecological sustainability, safety, technology and social change.

The lively exchange is intended to promote research, development and innovation in these areas in order to further strengthen Vienna's position as a centre of cutting-edge research. By raising public awareness, it is also expected that the functions and importance of packaging will be better understood and that acceptance and interest will be created. A secondary objective is to increase awareness of the specialist area's study programs and to further expand and strengthen the network of companies, authorities and the media.
