The aim of the project is to develop an improved packaging solution for the product "Alpengummi". The current packaging consists of an uncoated folding carton with only a minimal barrier. The optimised packaging solution should both improve the barrier effect and subsequently extend the shelf life of the natural chewing gum.
In order to achieve the set goal, the following factors are also taken into account and analysed:
