The residents of Vienna's municipal housing estates are as diverse as their needs and requirements for the shared living space. However, as is the case everywhere where different ideas clash, the resulting conflicts cannot always be resolved by the residents themselves, but require professional support.

This is where "wohnpartner - Gemeinsam für eine gute Nachbarschaft" comes in with a wide range of conflict resolution methods. The research project "Impact orientation at wohnpartner", which runs until 2023 and builds on the results of a project from 2019 to 2021 that focused on the impact of other wohnpartner service areas (on-site work and social information, counselling and support), focuses on the desired impact on residents and society as a whole.

The research project is dedicated to various questions of impact orientation:

• What are the impact goals of the conflict work?
• What are the benefits of conflict work for good coexistence in the neighbourhood?
• How can the intended effects be integrated into the existing impact models at wohnpartner?
• How can these effects be proven or measured in the day-to-day work of wohnpartner?
• wohnpartner wants to explore these questions together with a Project Team from FH Campus Wien in order to fulfil the requirements of impact-oriented work.

• Expansion of the impact models for on-site work and Social Work information, counselling and support to include conflict work.
• Further development of the existing survey instrument for measuring impact in order to record the impact of all areas of wohnpartner's services.
