Social Sciences

In addition to a general education as a social worker and social educator, the Hochschule Campus Wien Department of Social Sciences (formerly Department Social Work) also offers a bachelor's degree program for trained kindergarten teachers. Within the framework of the master's degree programs, Hochschule Campus Wien (HCW) engages in innovative developments through spatial and clinical social work. In the European master's degree program in Social Economy, students receive a joint degree. Close cooperation with social work organizations and HCW's own Research Center raise the quality of teaching and research for all the degree programs.

Diversity in research

Research and development are a significant and growing part of the activities of the Department of Social Sciences. Partnerships with social institutions and organizations, and project-related funding from FFG and MAGELF prove the recognized research expertise of Hochschule Campus Wien. Master's students are constantly involved in R & D activities.
