Evaluating the Transformation of Transport Administrations

Multimodal transportation systems are the trend of the future. To further enhance customer satisfaction and service orientation, ASFINAG is working to establish close integration with public transportation and other modes of transport (multimodality). As part of this joint research project, the experiences and solutions of international transportation organizations will be collected, analyzed, and further developed. While the EVOLUTION project (April 2013 – December 2015) examined the reasons and organizational structures of multimodal networks, this project focuses on the “how”—that is, the drivers, conditions, approaches, tools, and implementation processes of these changes.
