Sus^build Sustainable Building Design – resilient, climate-neutral and practical planning

The construction sector, as the largest consumer of resources, can contribute a great deal to climate protection through planning, technical and design measures on, in and around the building. The interdisciplinary qualification seminar sus^build is aimed at SMEs from the sector with the aim of developing basic principles, solutions and skills for comprehensive, climate-resilient and climate-neutral planning, always taking into account the entire life cycle.

The aim of the planned qualification seminar is to multiply the knowledge of the participating companies in this area, to specifically prepare the current state of science for practical application and to create a space for joint experimentation in the form of a concrete practice project:

• Interdisciplinary and holistic approach across all phases of the construction process, as well as across the entire building site as a resource for climate-resilient architecture
• Parallel application of the acquired approaches based on an accompanying task
• Expansion of the business model of the participating companies
• Establishment of a network for the valuable exchange of experience and knowledge
• Stimulation of new research needs and product innovations, as well as the transfer of new research findings and technological developments to practice
