Are you about to complete your degree and would like to gain international work experience for at least two months (at least 61 days of mobility abroad)? With the graduate internship programme, you can complete a funded internship abroad within one year of your final degree. You will gain practical experience, improve your language skills and strengthen your profile for your career entry.
Your mobility abroad is in one of the 33 Erasmus+ countries or a partner country participating worldwide. Here you can find the current countries for Erasmus+. You must find the internship location yourself. Funded graduate internships can only be offered by the University of Applied Sciences Campus Vienna as long as sufficient funding is available. For a graduate internship, choose Erasmus+:
Complete the application form in Mobility Online and upload your application documents by the deadline. No internship position is required for the application.
If necessary, you can amend the Learning Agreement.
You complete the Online Participant Report, the traineeship centre signs and stamps your confirmation of stay and you send the Traineeship Certificate to the International Office.
between € 620 and € 700 per month + one-off travel allowance + additional travel days (if environmentally friendly travelling) + top-up / inclusion support for students with fewer opportunities.
The Erasmus+ grant covers part of the costs. In addition, you do not pay any tuition fees at the host university and can continue to receive your Austrian study grant, the self-support grant or federal state grants. Mobility abroad is generally possible in all countries where you can stay safely, i.e. in countries for which there is no travel warning higher than level 3. The current classifications can be found on the BMEIA website. Countries with a travel warning 1-2 are possible for mobility. A stay in countries with a travel warning 3 is only possible with a final degree of liability exemption (student declaration). Mobility in countries with a travel warning 4 is not possible.

To prepare for your mobility abroad, you take part in a three-day preparatory seminar before your departure.
After your return, you will attend a three-day reflection seminar to reflect on your experiences abroad with the GSD team.
