Social Work Job Fair

Exchange between academic study and professional practice

At Hochschule Campus Wien (HCW), we are committed to preparing students as effectively as possible for working life. That is why, on the Bachelor’s degree programme in Social Work, students can choose where they would like to complete their compulsory field placements. To make this decision easier, the Social Work Placement Exchange has been bringing students into contact with the social services sector in Vienna and the surrounding area every year since 2023. This gives students the chance to explore different areas of Social Work, whilst organizations have the opportunity to attract them to their jobs and placements – with a focus on personal interaction.

Information for organizations

Join us: become a placement supervisor and get to know students on our Bachelor’s degree programme in Social Work! The Bachelor’s programme comprises a total of 20 weeks or 600 hours of supervised practical placements, spread over 6 semesters. These are organized differently depending on the mode of study – full-time or part-time.

As part of the ‘Practical Network Meetings’ series organized by the Bachelor’s programme in Social Work, your organization or social work institution has an exciting opportunity to present your placement and job opportunities at Hochschule Campus Wien. We’ll support you with training for your supervisors so that, together, we can promote practice-oriented education.
