The four micro-credentials are designed for Bachelor’s (Professional) graduates as well as professionals and executives. Academically and administratively, they are integrated into the master’s degree program in Tax Management at Hochschule Campus Wien and can be credited toward that degree. Students in the master’s degree program in Tax Management can also earn these credits.
Strengthen your expertise in business taxation, controlling, and financial reporting in accordance with the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Upon completion of this micro-credential, you will understand methods for managing companies, be able to critically analyze and evaluate them, and share this knowledge with others. You will be familiar with the differences in valuation between the Austrian Commercial Code (UGB) and IFRS and be able to critically examine them. You will understand corporate legal structures from both a tax law and business management perspective and apply this knowledge to specific scenarios.

Deepen your expertise with case studies based on the Austrian Commercial Code (UGB), tax law, and consolidation. Upon completion of this micro-credential, you will have in-depth knowledge of national accounting and the tax treatment of cross-cutting issues. You will independently develop financial reporting solutions in accordance with the Austrian Commercial Code (UGB) and evaluate the tax implications of various alternatives based on tax law and taxation. In international consolidation, you will prepare consolidated financial statements, independently apply this expertise to real-world cases, and develop solutions for consolidation issues.

Focus on income tax and corporate tax law. Upon completion of this micro-credential, you will apply your in-depth knowledge of income tax law—particularly international tax law and EU law—independently and in a solution-oriented manner in your work, and confidently share this knowledge with colleagues. Additionally, you will strengthen your ability to act in a solution-oriented manner in conflict situations.
