Project Duration: 01.08.2023- 31.12.2024

The quality of training for early childhood education and care professionals plays an important role in terms of pedagogical action and pedagogical quality in nursery schools. The research project has therefore set itself the goal of analysing the quality of training for early childhood education and care professionals. The aim is to gain insights that will support educational institutions and political decision-makers in improving the training of educational specialists.
As part of a cooperation project between Austria (University of Innsbruck, FH Campus Wien) and Ukraine (Drohobych Ivan Franko Pedagogical University, Korolenko National Pedagogical University), the quality of training in both countries is being comprehensively recorded and analysed through analyses of curricula, surveys of prospective educational professionals and educational professionals already working in nursery schools, as well as through guided interviews with University Management and the management of early childhood education and care professionals (BAfEP), and the results of both countries are being compared. In addition, seminars and online meetings will be organised to promote the exchange of ideas and experiences between the groups involved.
