Duration: 20.11.2015 to 15.12.2016
In the highly automated automotive industry, the issue of the future is to close the gap between man and machine. As part of a joint project with Magna Steyr Fahrzeugtechnik AG & Co KG, FH Campus Wien is involved in the research and development of ergonomic low-cost devices and tools for the Graz Thondorf plant.
Magna develops and manufactures vehicles for well-known car manufacturers in Graz. The company pursues the strategic goal of continuously implementing agile and therefore people-friendly production concepts. In order to provide employees with the best possible multimodal support, for example, the High Tech Manufacturing degree programme at the University of Applied Sciences contributes technical expertise in the field of rapid prototyping and the Health Assisting Engineering study program provides an ergonomic perspective. This know-how will be used to develop and use personalised, ergonomically and functionally optimised and cost-efficient auxiliary tools and devices.
