Short-Term Mobility

This page contains automated translations.

There are two types of short-term mobility: a blended mobility and a blended intensive programme. In both programmes, you combine a stay at a university abroad with an online part that you complete at home. You work in an international team, both on site abroad and in the joint online learning experience, which is also included in the performance assessment of your study programs.

Blended Intensive Programs in the Netherlands

“I found it particularly exciting to gain insight into other laboratories and their different working methods, even for a method such as PCR, with which I am very familiar.”

Kristína Barankaiová, student in the Bachelor's program in Biomedical Analysis

The first step: choose the type of mobility

There are two different types of short-term mobility to choose from. Both are only possible if offered by your study program. If you are interested, please contact the international coordinator responsible for your study program.

Blended mobility: Short-term mobility at a partner university with a virtual component
Blended Intensive Programme (BIP): Short-term mobility with a virtual component between at least three universities from three different countries on a specific topic; the procedure and travel plan will be agreed individually with your study program.

The virtual part can take place before, during or after the mobility abroad. For example, a virtual meeting via Zoom can be used to initiate or finalise the joint project with students from the partner universities. The on-site mobility abroad lasts between 5 and 30 days.
